Taqueria Arandas - Racine

The food was excellent and ready for pickup promptly. I had Enchiladas and my wife had the el pastor meat with corn tortillas. We enjoyed both dishes. The building looks uninviting from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover. Inside it is remarkably nice...but we got carryout because we had a other location to eat at.

Based on our opinion of the exterior, we almost drove away to find a "nicer" place. We were starving and figured they may have authentic mexican food. We were amazed by the interior. Clean, beautifully decorated, and excellent service. The food was authentic and delicious. Margaritas could have more variety and more Tequila . We were very pleased with our decision to give it a chance. Long, Hot Day at Racine Zoo, perfect stop on the way home.

This was a 12/10 Mexican restaurant! I would tell anyone looking for an amazing meal to go here! Food was fresh and very delicious, full of flavor. Also have a decent beer selection!

Vibes are weird and outside looks kinda scary, but inside you feel like you’re in Mexico. It helps that there are like no windows lol. Tacos are pretty much the best in the greater Milwaukee area. I travel all the way down here for good tacos. Tacos: Cecina- this one tends to be the most dry. Skip (but tried again in 10/2025, and this time it was great! So, a bit of a hit or miss) Pastor-always good Tripe-well cooked, fried to perfection. Totally get it again Tongue- can’t decide whether I like this or not… Carne Asada platter Delicious!!!! Comes with tortillas on the side Shrimp tostada The shrimp is all cut up and mixed in with the salsa(?). Not the tostada I’m used to… skip Whole fried fish meal (Mojarra) Not as salty as the whole fried fish you get at Chinese restaurants. But a huge whole tilapia fish comes fried to great golden. yum.

Definitely a "you can't judge a book by its cover" type of place. Looks like a total dive from the outside, the area feels a little sketchy too but if you're looking for great steak, good tacos and amazing food, this is the diamond in the ruff!! I will drive an hour bc they are consistent with their flavor and good quality meat! Their prices are unbeatable! If you have the guayules deff stop by!!

Never disappointed here. All the food is delicious. No one makes better tacos al pastor as taqueria Arandas. The place is beautiful. However if you are on the go they also have two taco trucks in 2 places Of Racine.

Love the food.. Delivery not so much. Recently customer service over the phone hasn’t been the best. Make sure you are checking your prices because they over charged me over the phone, I went in to the location and took a picture of the combo prices at 11.99 and they are charging 12.47, and still adding a tax after.
